| Traveling from Lisbon or Porto: We recommend you rent a car in Lisbon or Porto and travel via autostrada to the Coimbra area. From either Airport, enter the A1 Autostrada and drive towards Coimbra. Exit the A1 at exit # ______ and proceed east to the exit for ________. Follow the signs for Vila Nova de Poiares (N17). 15 KMS east of Coimbra turn right on N236 towards Foz de Arouce and Lousa. The road will bring you to the double round-about, {it will be obvious when you arrive there}. Careful, there is road construction in the area of the round-a-bout. |
